What is the Charter Lottery?
At Young Women’s College Prep, we’re a tuition-free public charter school—and we want every interested family to have an equal chance to join our community. That’s why we use a lottery system for admissions.
From December through April 1st, families can fill out a quick and easy lottery application.
Then, in early April, we hold our lottery! A computer randomly selects names from the list of applicants. If your child is selected, we’ll reach out to you with all the necessary information to guide you through the enrollment process.
