YWCP Chromebook Distribution Effort

Wednesday 3/18 First Session: 9:00-1:00PM, Second Session:4:00-6:00Pm

At this time, this is the ONLY distribution planned. If you cannot pick up your daughter’s YWCP Chromebook, they can still access online learning from other computers and devices. Please find instructional resources here. This is by no means a perfect plan and students will not be held responsible for work due to lack of access to computers or the internet. We are assessing in an ongoing way if and when we can hold another distribution event. 

  • What: YWCP Chromebook Distribution Effort
  • Where: YWCP 133 Hoover Drive- Back Parking Lot
  • When: Wednesday March 18th 
  • Time: First Session Between 9:00A.M-1:00P.M, Second Session between 4:00-6:00pm


Please read the following directions carefully.


  • Please be patient and plan on some wait time.
  • Before you leave the house – Write your daughter’s name and grade on a piece of paper.
  • Drive to the far back parking lot near our main entrance.
  • Follow traffic patterns and stay in your car.
  • Hand the paper with your daughter’s name and grade to YWCP staff as they approach your car.
  • Keep your car running and continue to pull up while the Chromebook is fetched.
  • YWCP Staff will hand you a brown paper grocery bag with Chromebook, charger, and some other resource materials inside.
  • Drive Away Home – Keep checking the YWCP website and expect our teacher’s directions to students to become more detailed in the coming days and weeks.

Important Notice for YWCP Families:Asynchronous Learning 9/27 - 9/30

Greetings YWCP Parents and Guardians,

This message is to notify you that in accordance with New York State Education Department guidelines regarding health and safety, and to ensure there is no lapse in instruction, we must implement asynchronous learning for the remainder of the week.  This means that students will learn and complete assignments at their own pace remotely.

Students will NOT be attending in-person learning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27th through this Friday, September 30th. Please have your YWCP student check their school email and our YWCP website for more information.

Students are NOT to report to school and ARE expected to:

  • Login to Google Classroom starting Tuesday for each class and complete all work.  Assignments will be posted daily.
  • Email teachers with any questions or concerns.
  • Check Google Classroom daily.

Please be reminded that students should check their email for more information from their teachers.

We will continue our normal in-person learning on Monday, October 3rd. Thank you for your continued support.  Stay safe and healthy.
