Griffin P.R.I.D.E. Academy

First Trip: Friday, October 4th, 2019 – 7:30 am to 12:00 pm @ Camp Arrowhead

The Griffin PRIDE Academy is a program intended to support incoming 9th graders as they transition to high school and work through their first year.  Throughout the year, students will experience opportunities that will allow them to explore a variety of careers and understand more deeply the education requirements to achieve those career goals.

Please be sure your daughter has followed the dress expectations as outlined in the paperwork that went home recently and, that she brings all permission slips to Mrs. Zitz or her counselorThe signed student waiver is mandatory to participate.

The first day of the YWCP Griffin Academy to camp Arrow Head will be on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Important Notice for YWCP Families:Asynchronous Learning 9/27 - 9/30

Greetings YWCP Parents and Guardians,

This message is to notify you that in accordance with New York State Education Department guidelines regarding health and safety, and to ensure there is no lapse in instruction, we must implement asynchronous learning for the remainder of the week.  This means that students will learn and complete assignments at their own pace remotely.

Students will NOT be attending in-person learning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27th through this Friday, September 30th. Please have your YWCP student check their school email and our YWCP website for more information.

Students are NOT to report to school and ARE expected to:

  • Login to Google Classroom starting Tuesday for each class and complete all work.  Assignments will be posted daily.
  • Email teachers with any questions or concerns.
  • Check Google Classroom daily.

Please be reminded that students should check their email for more information from their teachers.

We will continue our normal in-person learning on Monday, October 3rd. Thank you for your continued support.  Stay safe and healthy.
